Wisdom from Blooh...

Blooh asked me to share my experience this evening, which I offered to a friend just after it took place. Blooh, the wise and Magical Unicorn that he is, thought that others would benefit as well. Here it is:  


I pulled in to the target parking lot. Noticing that a car pulled through a spot up front, I turned to take the one behind them. Another car got it just ahead of me. Then a better spot in the aisle that I had just passed opened up. Then a car began to back out of another nearby spot as I passed. My choices were many...I could have gotten mad and "cursed those darn spot takers". I could have pouted and parked far away. I decided to laugh aloud at the prankster goings on from the Universe, pull through some farther spots and take my chances with the closest one to the store. I decided that the spot would be open because it was my gift. I celebrated and said thank you as I pulled into the spot. The moral of the story is.....things are not always as they initially seem. The gifts are right in front of us and when we release our fear and open to receive, they come right to us. (Or we to them).

What has Blooh been up To??

Blooh has been traveling and experiencing all sorts of new things outside of the Magical Forest.  We are picking up his story from the present.....he will fill us in on the past and how he came to exit the Magical Forest in the near future.  For now, sit back and enjoy his escapades, photo and video-style.....

Let Your Colors Fly

When I was a senior in college, I was writing a paper in culmination of a semester long independent study on Stress and Dreaming.  During that time, I had many very interesting dreams.
I was stressed.
My dreams related well to the stress.
I still remember one particular dream in which I was having a conversation with a friend about (hold your breath) Homosexuality.  In the dream, I said to my friend (who was black),
"Yes, but you CAN'T hide who you are, I can."
And what I meant (in the dream) by saying that, was that my friend had no choice but to be who she is.....(in the sense of wearing the color of her skin on the surface.....nothing to do with the heart, per se).  I, on the other hand, had the choice.  I could BE who I was, OR I could hide behind any particular expression of self that I chose.  No one would look at my skin and see me as "different".  
I HAD to make a choice -- Should I attempt to "blend in" to be perceived as "normal", or should I let my True Colors shine....(fly the rainbow flag, in other words).  Upon waking, I really thought about it all, I let me colors shine....just as I had been doing prior to that, but the dreamed confirmed for me that the way to be was to continue to be ME.....that was 16 years ago.  At that time, I felt like we were making so much progress in regard to openness and acceptance of ALL Humankind, and in many ways we were.
Tonight, I look back at the progress that we have made and I'm just not sure how far we have come......

The moral of the story?
Be YOU.  LET YOUR Light Shine...SHINE IT for all to see, and if they don't want your Light, then shine it anyway.  At least the path will be illuminated!

Weekly Warrior Message

Happy February, everyone!
Having been another posting hiatus, I am returning with a "Miracle Moment" share that went out to my intenSati Warrior crew (somewhat edited to protect the identity of the innocent).  I hope you enjoy:

Good Tuesday Morning, Warriors!

We had some fantastic classes this past Sunday - a dynamic duo at DestinyArts and a group of TEN first time WARRIORS at StudiOMango.  What an amazing day!   

I want to share very briefly with you, my experience on Sunday.  For the third day in a row, I was at the studio ready for class.  For the third day in a row, no one came.  (yes, the weather was a factor on Friday and Saturday, but my mind was not interested in accepting excuses at the time, no matter how valid they were.)  I was sad.  I was pouting.  I began to post my thoughts on the intenSati Leader page to get some feedback from other Leaders and as I typed, a little voice (you know that little voice....it's that inner guide/intuition/Angel on your shoulder/SENSE) said, "But you are going to Mango....just wait....let it play out.....see how Mango goes....."

I stopped typing, picked up my bag, pictured a FULL class at Mango and made my way to the Lobby.  

A few families were beginning to roll in for Irish Dance, postponed from the previous day.  Rather than make a bee-line out the door, I lingered.  There was no particular reason for lingering, yet I lingered on.  A few minutes later, in came a dedicated Warrior......interested in class, but preferring to wait for at least one partner in crime.  We lingered.  Enter Warrior number 2 of the DYNAMIC DUO!

Off we went for a most fabulous, energy filled, Miracle Causing, Class!  

They pushed past some of their perceived limits, and THAT is what Causing Miracles is all about.  I opened up to the possibilities of a SHIFT in my Perception from Fear to Love (see above "little voice" line) and was gifted with these two amazing Warriors!  THAT IS A MIRACLE (by definition from "A Course in Miracles")  

Then, the StudiOMango group.....smiling faces, some a bit inquisitive at times (probably due to my cuing mishaps, but as you all know, that's part of my charm).  Overall, I get the impression that the class was well received and I look forward to seeing a few new faces at DestinyArts in the coming weeks.  I will be back at Mango as well, we just don't have it scheduled yet.  

So, why do I tell you all of this?  I tell you because for me, it is helps to understand a concept by way of an example than to just hear the definition of said concept.  The concept of a "Miracle" - defn. "A shift in perception from fear to Love."

The scenarios that I offer above are just that, Miracles. 

1.) I experienced fear - fear of failure; fear of success (and lack there of); fear that "nobody likes my class", "I'm not a good leader"....etc.  

2.) I recognized that I was out of integrity with something.....I "heard" the voice (btw, This is something that I have been practicing.....it does not always come so readily, but it is flowing more and more the more I practice)..... I "heard" the voice of Reason/Spirit/Inner Guide.

3.) I LISTENED

4.) I ALLOWED

5.) I OPENED TO RECEIVE

6.)  I RECEIVED!

I hope that this helps to provide you with some personal insight as well.  Whether you are a weekly Warrior or are a periodic Warrior, we are, after all, in this thing called Life together.  By nature of being Human and here on this planet in the same time/space continuum, we share a connection.  The more we recognize our connections, the more we recognize that we are not "going it alone".  The manifestations of our experiences may differ, but underneath it all, the same concepts seem to flow.
